Ella es mi amiga Paola Mantilla, tiene 30 años, venezolana, nunca pensamos que tendríamos que organizar una campaña solicitando ayuda económica por un grave problema de salud.
A mediados del mes de junio, se acudió al Centro Médico de Caracas, ubicado en San Bernardino por presentar molestias en la mama izquierda y sentir un nódulo en la misma.
Después de varias consultas y exámenes realizados durante los meses de junio y julio, tales como mamografía, ultrasonido, eco mamario, biopsia y el inmunohistoquimico, los médicos especialistas en mastología y oncología del mencionado centro médico determinaron que efectivamente existía un nódulo mamario, arrojando como diagnóstico positivo carcinoma ductal de mama izquierda cT2 cN1 MX, triple negativo.
Para dicho diagnóstico es necesario realizar cuatro (04) ciclos de quimio con un intervalo cada una de 21 días y posteriormente una cirugía aproximadamente a finales de octubre, principios de noviembre, la cual será realizada en el citado Centro Médico de Caracas con el favor de Dios, los cuales suman un monto aproximado de 8.000 $.
Todo esto ha sido muy rápido y muy duro de enfrentar para ella y el alto costo de las diferentes consultas, exámenes y medicamentos ha afectado su situación económica, es por esto que se ha tomado la decisión de realizar la presente campaña y poder costear los ciclos de quimio y la cirugía, ya fue realizado el primer ciclo de quimio y es necesario continuar con el proceso y lograr su pronta recuperación. Ella esta poniendo lo mejor de sí para llevar esta carga tan pesada con entereza pero, no puede sola, tenemos toda la fe puesta en Dios y sé que esta prueba la vamos a superar de su mano, pero también necesitamos de ustedes, de familiares, amigos, conocidos y todo aquel que pueda ayudar, cada granito cuenta.

For de treatment, it’s necessary to realize four (04) chemo cycles each 21 days and subsequently a surgery approximately at the end of October, this surgery will be performed at the aforementioned Medical Center of Caracas with the favor of God, the price is an approximate amount of $ 8,000.
This is a surprising and difficult situation for her and the expensive cost of the different consultations, examinations and medications has affected her economic situation, for the aforementioned, we decided to make this campaign for help her and to collect the enough money to pay the chemotherapy and surgery. The first chemo’s cycle was already realized, and it is necessary to continue with the process and achieve a speedy recovery. She is doing her best to carry this heavy load with stronghold but, she cannot alone, we have all the faith in God and I know that we will overcome this test , but we also need you, family members, friends, acquaintances and anyone who can help, every contribution counts.
