<div>Sabemos que hay muchas personas que lo quieren y lo admiran por su faceta como piloto, como comentarista de automovilismo en televisión, radio, sobre todo por la calidad de ser humano que es. Hoy se encuentra en terapia intensiva por un cuadro respiratorio que se complicó hasta llevarlo a tener que intubarlo para que sus pulmones puedan sanar.

<div>La situación en sí misma ha sido un golpe inesperado y devastador para nuestra familia. Cada día es una batalla y seguimos aferrándonos a la esperanza de que salga adelante.

<div>Lamentablemente y ante una situación tan impredecible como ésta, el dinero no fluye conforme al ritmo en que se eleva la cuenta todos los días. Eso está obligando al hospital en el que se encuentra actualmente a quererlo trasladar a otro lugar y solo están dispuestos a tolerar un par de días más. Los doctores no están de acuerdo, porque moverlo de un hospital a otro en la condición en la que hoy se encuentra puede significar perder todo lo ganado, incluso lo peor.

<div>Los gastos hospitalarios crecen de una forma que ya no podemos cubrir solos. Medicamentos, estudios, atención especializada y la estancia en terapia intensiva están agotando el dinero rápidamente.

<div>Today, I am writing this with my heart on my hand. My father is currently in intensive care, fighting for his life. This has been an unexpected and devastating blow to our family. Every day is a battle, and we continue to cling to the hope that he will pull through.

<div>Unfortunately, my father did not have health insurance, and the hospital expenses have begun to grow in a way that we can no longer cover on our own. Medications, tests, specialized care, and the cost of the ICU stay are rapidly exhausting our resources.
