<div>Hace aproximadamente un año mi salud comenzó a deteriorarse, y hace 10 meses fui diagnosticado con un tumor llamado ependimoma mixopapilar que se originó en el coxis. Lamentablemente, este hizo metástasis, generando múltiples tumores a lo largo de mi columna.

<div>Hasta ahora he pasado por dos cirugías importantes: una en la zona cervical y otra en la zona lumbar, donde se encontraba el tumor más grande. En ambas me colocaron implantes para dar soporte a mi columna. Además, fui diagnosticado con hidrocefalia, por lo que me colocaron una válvula en la cabeza para drenar el líquido acumulado.

<div>Actualmente continúo en tratamiento con quimioterapia y radiación para combatir los tumores que no pueden ser operados. Gracias a Dios, no es cáncer.

<div>Desde que comenzó esta situación me encuentro incapacitado por el IMSS. Aunque parte de los gastos han sido cubiertos como gastos médicos mayores, hay muchos otros que no entran en la cobertura, especialmente aquellos menores al monto de reembolso, lo que ha complicado mucho nuestra situación económica.
