Thailand Service Trip

Recently I have been looking for meaning in my life. I have
a passion for animals, nature, helping better others' lives, and bringing
positivity into the world.
I applied for a grant with a program called Rustic Pathways that gives 100 grants per year to select individuals. About two weeks later I received the news that I was chosen for TWO programs, both in Thailand, and the grant covered 100% of the programs' costs. One program focuses on helping mistreated animals, and the other focuses on bettering the lives of children orphaned by the conflict between Thailand and Burma. Unfortunately, the grant does not cover travel costs, which are $3,125. This is why I am reaching out to you.
I feel so honored just to be given this opportunity. I feel I will learn so much that I cannot anticipate. Cultures, languages, animals, and children are things I love. I want to make the world a better place for my whole life, and I believe this is where I will start.
