<div>Aufgrund unerwartet starker Regenfälle in der Nacht vom 17. auf den 18. Juli 2025 trat der Fluß am Rande ihres Grundstücks sehr überraschend und so schnell über die Ufer, dass ihr gesamtes Grundstück mitsamt des eingeschossigen Hauses von mit Fäkalien durchmischten Wassermassen überschwemmt und nahezu alles, was das Paar an Besitz hatte, zerstört hatte. Einschließlich des einzigen Laptop-Computers.

<div>Stand jetzt werden die beiden in diesem Haus, in dem sie seit einiger Zeit zur Miete wohnen, nicht bleiben können. Die finanziellen Reserven der beiden Auswanderer, die gerade dabei waren, sich ein neues Leben aufzubauen, waren ohnehin beinahe aufgebraucht, zumal Robert aufgrund einer seltenen neurodegenerativen Erkrankung besondere Medikamente benötigt.
