June's Intensive Therapy
June has been kickin' butt at fighting the effects of CMV since the day she was born. But working against brain damage and cerebral palsy is no small task which is why our family is hoping to fundraise towards two new opportunities for therapy for June in 2018.
February 19, 2018-The first is an intensive therapy model at the Napa Center in Los Angeles, CA. While she is there, June will participate in 4 hours of therapy a day for two weeks straight (5 days a week). At the Napa Center June will be exposed to physical therapy philosophies she does not have access to here in Louisville.
10:00-12:00 NeuroSuit
(NeuroSuit therapy simultaneously assists the patient’s body to be in correct alignment, while bungee cords provide a comforting compression to the joints and distribute a vertical weight bearing to the patient’s entire body. There is not a licensed Neurosuit therapist in the entire state of KY. )

12:30-1:30 Speech Therapy
1:30-2:30 Break
2:30-3:30 CME
(Cuevas MEDEK Exercise exposes the child to the natural influence of the force of gravity with gradual progression to distal support. It provokes automatic postural reactions that contribute to the postural control needed for functional tasks.)
This program will cost $6,000. 
September 5-29, 2018-The second opportunity is four weeks at the Conductive Education Center in Grand Rapids, MI. Conductive education is an intensive, multi-disciplinary approach to education, training and development for individuals with cerebral palsy, spina bifida and other motor challenges.
The therapy and teaching integrates medical knowledge with educational methods to enable the individual to learn how to gain control over his or her movements. We took a trip up to the CEC this past summer and the educators there believed June would be a terrific candidate for the program.
This program will cost $2,000.
Besides the cost of each program and because one of us, Justin or myself, will need to take time off work to be with June, and considering the travel and lodging expenses for both of these programs, we are asking for an additional $2,000 brining the total of our fundraiser to $10,000.
