Julie's Road to Recovery Fund

While walking her dog, Jemma, the morning of July 15, Julie was suddenly struck by a car. The driver was uninsured and had a suspsended license. Julie was transported to the hospital via life-flight where she later had surgery to help stabilize various broken bones, and she may still require additional surgeries as the full extent of damage is realized.

Julie suffered multiple fractures in her legs, her shoulders, and her pelvis. She also suffered a fractured eye socket, and many scrapes, cuts, and bruises.

We are so thankful that Julie experienced no neck, spine, or brain trauma, and there were no internal injuries either. Thank you Lord for protecting our sister!

However, Julie's road to recovery is going to be long, hard, and very costly. The current prognosis is for Julie to require extended hospital stay and/or in-patient skilled rehab.

Many have asked what they can do to help, and we appreciate the outpouring of prayer, love, and overall good vibrations. If you could please contribute to this fund, it will help to alleviate some of the financial stresses that Chuck and Julie are going to face. The initial goal amount has been set at $250k though the cost of this event is bound to be greater still. Thank you in advance for anything you are able to do, we appreciate all of you! P.S. Jemma suffered some cuts and deep bruises, but walked away relatively fine.
