Julie's Cambodia's Mission Trip

Dear Family & Friends,
As you may know, I will be traveling to Cambodia in May to serve for and with the people of this amazing country. In Matthew 28, Jesus said, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,” and it is my desire to give spiritually and physically to reach the vulnerable people of this country whose history is marked by genocide but future belongs to the Lord.
I will be traveling with a group from Freedom’s Promise (www.freedomspromise. org), a Nashville-based organization that is actively working to prevent the exploitation and trafficking of individuals by restoring communities and introducing the hope of Jesus Christ. This organization is working with the poorest of the poor in Southeast Asia, those who are most vulnerable to the atrocity of human trafficking.
During our trip, we will construct Dreamer’s Park playgrounds and build school desks for educational purposes in areas of extreme poverty. Children will be provided safe places to play and the burden of adult-like responsibilities they carry will be replaced with the opportunity to truly be kids! Hearing their laughter and seeing the joy they experience is worth every sacrifice of finances and energy.
Here’s how YOU can help! Although I have been fortunate to pay for some of my own personal trip costs, I am asking for your financial support and for you to step into this opportunity for Kingdom building with me. I believe this is a demonstration of the body of Christ, whereby some go and others stay back praying and supporting from afar.
