Julie zagelow cancer fight

It’s very hard for me to imagine that just a
short time ago, my dear longtime friend Julie Zagelow helped set up a gofund me for my 
Sons cancer fight!
How can it be that now she herself is facing a big battle following the same steps we just
traveled together with my son!
 Life has twists and turns and now it’s my turn to tell Julie's story in the hopes that all seeing this will help her and her family of 7 get
through this most difficult fight she faces!!!
Julies  road is going to be long ,hard and very
expensive beyond belief!

Julies story:
it was a routine mammogram, no big deal,
until Nov4th 2019 when i got a call saying i
needed to come back for more images.
Having to go in for 2nd images isn’t
uncommon & typically it turns into nothing.
after scheduling my 2nd mammogram for
Nov 8th, i felt a pit in my stomach with the
hunch that this was not nothing, this was
more!
My 2nd mammogram was reviewed
immediately & i was taken straight in for a
ulta sound.
I was told I had a mass in my breast & i
needed a biopsy which i then had Nov 13th.
On Nov 15th I received my official diagnosis of INVASIVE DUCTAL CARCINOMA, TRIPLE NEGATIVE BREAST CANCER!!!
it was explained this cancer is very aggressive and treatment isnt the typical breast cancer
treatment options......
(Julie has a big journey ahead, it’s overwhelming to say the least )
i had my oncology visit today and the Dr
wants to start chemo right away and not wait until after xmas because my cancer is so
aggressive!  I’ll get my port in this week and
start chemo Dec 16th.    I will have 4 1/2
months of chemo depending on my cancer
response.....it could change?
i got fitted today for the cold cap also to help with hair loss and re growth later on. Here i
go!!!!
