Julie Thompson's Cancer Treatment

On December 21, 2017 Julie was diagnosed with Stage 3 Uterine Sarcoma. She endured two major abdominal surgeries within two weeks, one of them a full hysterectomy preventing her from ever having children of her own. She was put through 3 rounds of chemotherapy that she handled like a champ. She had a scan one month after treatment, and everything was clear. Three months later, on July 19, went in for a routine scan and discovered her cancer was back. Two tumors had grown in that short amount of time.
She was then put me on another combo of chemo and after 2 treatments, scans showed that the chemo was not stopping tumor growth, and in fact her cancer had spread. This now puts her at Stage 4. She is on another type of chemo that has proven effective in some soft tissue sarcomas. She will find out if is working after the third treatment.
The goal is to control the metastasis and to keep her alive long enough until something is found to eradicate it completely. Uterine sarcoma is extremely rare and aggressive. It makes up less than 4% of uterine cancers. With that being said, she cannot rely on chemotherapy alone to beat this, and she need to take steps in trying fight it from a homeopathic end as well.

There are numerous alternative therapies out there that she would love to pursue; however, very few are covered by conventional health insurance, and most of them are quite costly. Julie continues to work like a champ at her job as a fine wine consultant all while going through treatment. Our support would allow her to pursue several alternative therapies including: a medical grade oil being made for her, any travel costs in case she needs to travel and get it and the numerous supplements she is on currently but is having difficulty affording.
