Julie Poor Surviving Cancer

Donation protected
LET'S RALLY WITH JULIE AND HER FAMILY TO SURVIVE CANCER TOGETHER. This request is written from the hearts of her children and close family. She is a beautiful and intelligent lady whose inner beauty radiates from within. She truly is a person who brings sunshine, understanding, and inspiration wherever she goes.

First diagnosed in June, 2017 with an extremely aggressive and rare form of uterine sarcoma. She was finally hospitalized and had surgery on November 27, 2017. Then, on December 8, 2017, a second operation was needed due to multiple-complications from the first procedure. After six months of rehabilitation and recovery, she had been gifted the assurance that she was in full remission. The  summer of 2018 started as a joyous time and she excitably started working again.  In typical Julie fashion, she harnessed the wisdom from her battle and refocused it into her beloved family and truly living life genuinely happy.

Unfortunately, August, 2018, following a self-diagnosed pain in her abdomen, Julie received the shocking news that she had another three separate cancerous masses in three separate organs. Immediately, she was scheduled for a very offensive treatment of Chemotherapy as recommended by her physicians. She is undergoing a grueling three-step process with two different medications. The first being an exceptionally hard-hitting form of chemo that will quickly and adversely take her hair and bring the most mundane and daily physical duties to a grinding halt. Unfortunately, getting through the chemo to reduce the tumors is just the beginning of the battle. In total, the treatment process will take at least another year. The second round of her fight will consist of more routine treatments, which can be administered at a local hospital and it is likely that she will require some form of chemotherapy for the rest of her life.

Julie, her children, and her grandchildren's lives have, again, been turned upside down. Julie will continue to fight and work for a great company that has fought for and supported her, but will be still faced with financial difficulties. Like anyone who has fought for their life against such a devastating disease, the struggle is real in all ways. Please realize that this cannot be done alone and, so forth, support her in her battle and her life and/or spread the words of her story to others.

Help us help Julie, so that she and her family do not have to worry about anything other than Julie getting well. In addition, prayers are much appreciated, and many are, already, praying ceaselessly for a miracle. Please join them. Any help will be very much appreciated. Her daughter, Rachel Matthews will be in charge of funds.

PLEASE SUPPORT US WITH TURNING HER BIGGEST FEARS INTO HER COMFORTS THROUGHOUT THIS IMPOSSIBLE TIME. She and her granddaughters are inseparable and her motivation for survival is rooted in helping them grow. Her empathetic patient being, with which she treats not only her grandchildren, but also everyone else is truly an inspiration to us all. It's time to dig deep and rally on her behalf. Let’s give back to the one who has given us all so much.

All Donations will support all of her out of pocket costs associated with her comforts & aesthetics throughout the process.
