Julie Frahm’s Fearless Fight

Donation protected
Positivity, Kindness and Selflessness are the words to describe Ms. Julie Frahm.  She is always willing to go the extra mile for anyone who walks across her Path of Life. As she is always willing to volunteer, help others or just give a lending ear to anyone, but now this time she needs our assistance.

As many of you know, Julie has been for many years fighting her own battles with multiple health problems. She began this fight back in 1989 when she was diagnosed with the hereditary Polycystic Liver and Kidney disease. In 2010 she found out she had a brain aneurysm which then led to a brain hematoma which she underwent emergency surgery to fix this problem. After fighting for her life, she recovered. However, a year later with complications yet again, she had to have her liver resected in which she had half of it removed.

Julie never skipped a beat, always staying positive, and never giving up hope she received some good news that she qualified for a life changing Mayo Clinic study in which she receives injections every 28 days to lessen the side effects. Because of the trial in which she is participating in and the progress that she is making this drug has now been FDA approved to help people manage this horrible disease. These injections still affect her with stomach issues and fatigue after taking them, but are minimal to what could be.

Thinking she was on the road to a healthy management of disease, in 2017 Julie started on a new fight when she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She underwent oral chemotherapy and radiation as a treatment plan and is now cancer free. However, the chemo left her with sever neuropathy in her feet making her daily activities to be challenging. The radiation received caused a huge amount of skin and tissue damage including many seromas. On December 14th 2020, after fighting breast cancer complications for over 3 years already, Julie is undergoing a healthy tissue transfer in which they are harvesting good and alive tissues to cover her open wounds she has been fighting.

Always staying positive and upbeat her medical conditions are taking a toll on her emotionally and financially.  The fatigue and neuropathy in her feet have made daily living skills a challenge in which she is unable to continue working. Julie is now too close her beloved flower store ‘Forever Remembered’ which was her main source of income.

Julie is not one to ask for help and doesn’t want to be fussed over, mostly because of her pride. However, these life bumps have left her in need of help. Myself and few of her friends are setting up this page to help relieve the financial stress so she can focus on her road to recovery.  The money that Julie receives will help her pay for the endless medical bills, transportation and hotel stays when she goes to Mayo for her treatments.  Your generosity and support will be greatly appreciated by her and will help limit the emotional stress knowing she can focus on the long hard fight of recovery ahead of her.

Thank you and God Bless you all.
