After years of dreaming, the time has come to create these dreams into reality: I’m putting up a musical! Namely, Natasha, Pierre, and The Great Comet of 1812.

This show has been one of my greatest loves ever since having seen it as a sophomore in college and has quietly lurked in the back of my mind as a “maybe someday.” As time has ticked on, it’s become clearer and clearer to me that “maybe somedays” are very hard to come by and the best way to come by luck is to create it on your own. So, I am.

I’ve saved up some money, I’ve cast a group of incredibly talented artists, and rehearsals are underway! While I’ve saved up enough to get the ball rolling and lock in a venue, as you might imagine, self producing a musical comes with quite a few costs and any contribution you’d be willing to make to this endeavor would be wildly appreciated and mean the world to me. Your contribution will go towards:

• Accompanist & Rehearsal Space ($300-$600 per week)

• Venue ($2000)

• Licensing ($2000)

• Sound/Microphones ($1500)

• Instrumentalists ($1500)

Any remaining amount will be split amongst the cast, as they are otherwise donating their time.

If there’s one thing the NYC theatre scene has taught me, it’s to create your own opportunities. In a world full of frustratingly locked doors, I’m excited to make and unlock my own. Overall, this show tells a story of hope and I look forward to being able to bring its light into fruition during a time that I feel it is greatly needed. This is my passion project of a lifetime and I’m immensely grateful for any donation you are able to make. All donors will be proudly recognized in the show’s program.

Performances will be in the greater NYC area February 27 & 28, 2026.
