Jay's Great Divide Trail Thru-Hike

Hello everyone!
This upcoming summer I wish to accomplish the Great Divide Trail, a 1100km hiking trail which goes through Alberta and British Columbia. I will be starting my hike July 6th, at the Waterton trailhead, where I'll be Northbound for the next weeks.
This fundraiser will help me reach this goal by helping me pay for important gear which I'm still missing: a tent, an inReach, a sleeping bag liner, a down coat. It will also help me pay for required permits and the food.
For anyone who donates BEFORE my departure date, 20% of donations will be giving to Meals for Milton, a Montréal based organisation which helps feed and cloth the homeless indigenous peoples of Montréal. For all donations made AFTER my departure, 85% of donations will be sent to Meals for Milton. The remaining 15% will be used as a security blanket for unexpected purchases on the road.
Thank you, to all who help me in any way - whether that is through donations, sharing of this page, or simply words of encouragement. While I'm dedicated to accomplishing the Great Divide Trail, I know that it is thanks to the continued support of those around me that I have even gotten this far into the project.
