On his Facebook page, Julian had the following quote: Many people have good qualities, but few are a total package. Julian was the total package.
Gifted to the world on October 22, 1976, he was the proud and happy husband of Cynthia, the eldest son of Winston and Verna Trotman, and a brother like no other to Charles. He was that friend that stuck "closer than a brother", a "Pathfinder's Pathfinder", a teacher, a mentor, and that friend you wished you could clone because he was just that great.
Julian suffered from diabetes for a significant amount of time. His jovial disposition, outward display of strength, and poise had most of us unaware of the height of his suffering. He sought treatment at facilities like Wildwood and consulted with a number of doctors. Julian seemed to be regaining control of his health and traveled to Barbados to celebrate his birthday with his parents. While waiting for his beloved Cynthia to join them, Julian closed his eyes for the last time on Sabbath November 4, escaping the physical pain of this world.
She needs your help.
On Tuesday, Cynthia will travel to Barbados to do the hardest thing she's ever done in her life. She and her parents-in-love and all of the Trotman family will lay our beloved Julian to rest. No one planned to lose this treasure we knew as Julian. We are hoping to raise $10,000.00 to help defray the travel and burial expenses. Additionally, by the grace of God, the Trotmans hope to have a memorial service in New York upon Cynthia's return for those wishing to honor Julian's life. Thank you for the outpouring of love and support thus far.
