Julia's Journey to being Cancer Free

Our beautiful Mum Julia Driscoll has dedicated her entire life to caring for others as a mother, friend and healthcare practitioner but now she needs our help.  Julia has recently been diagnosed with Grade 3 breast cancer. Thankfully it was caught early and is treatable and she will undergo surgery next week, but it comes at a financial cost. Julia is a single mother and financially supports her youngest child. The surgery will mean she won't be able to work for some time.  This cancer diagnosis comes just three years after she suffered a serious stroke in September 2017 which also left her out of work and put her under financial stress. And in 1994, she suffered her first stroke at 28 years old (while pregnant with her firstborn) which very nearly took her life.  Our Mum has always worked so hard her to support her family, gone above and beyond for her patients, served in her local church and is the most compassionate woman I know. She is determined, strong and incredibly resilient. While we can't take away the illness, we hope you may be able to make a small donation to help ease some of the financial stress associated with cancer treatment and recovery. She's been through serious illness too many times, so my siblings and I have started this Go Fund Me to help ease her burden.
