My best friend Julia (Ju) died unexpectedly on Friday 9th February at Kings Mill Hospital after a short fight with pneumonia. She was just 54 years old.

Unfortunately Ju didn’t have any life insurance in place or any wishes regarding dying her only wish was to live a happy life.
She fought so hard to live a good & happy life even with everything else going on for her.

Anyone that knew Ju, knew she was a very strong, independent lady even with all her disabilities and illnesses she never moaned and just wanted to try her best and be happy.

I have worked as a pa/carer for Ju now for over 10 years, she wasn’t just someone I worked for, she grew to be my best friend and was welcomed and loved by myself & my family.
Ju loved all her pas over the years and they loved her.
Sadly Julia doesn’t have any family but she does have many friends that loved her so very much & her beloved cat Tia (I daren’t not mention her cat).
She has left a massive hole in a lot of people’s lives.
We could all learn a lot from Ju she was such a fighter.

Ju had cerebral Palsy, epilepsy & many other debilitating illnesses, over this last year sadly Ju deteriorated a lot and in the end she was fully paralysed from the neck down and needed full time care but she kept positive and strong and still tried to make others feel better,’ putting her own troubles to the side to help everyone else.
I have never in my life met such a brave and courageous lady as Ju, no matter what challenges she faced everyday, she found her own way to overcome them and at times things were very difficult for her but she would smile and carry on.

Ju would have done anything for anybody she was a truly amazing person with so much love to give.

Ju had a very tough life from the very beginning, from being born disabled and throughout her life she faced many challenges along the way, but she would meet you with a big cheeky smile and open arms.

I would love to be able to pay for Jus funeral myself but sadly this isn’t something I can do by myself so therefore we are hoping to raise some money towards Ju’s funeral expenses and give her the send off she deserves.
Anything at all would be so appreciated and I know If this was for someone else, Ju would be the first person to be saying I want to help.
So please if you can help at all & we can then give Ju the send off she truly deserves.

Thank you very much
