Sherry Karnes Home Fire Relief

In less than an hour, on the morning of December 9, 2015, our dear friend Sherry Karnes lost her house and contents to a devastating fire.  The home was build sometime during the 1800's and had been ub her family for several years,  so she lost not only her personal items but all of her family memorabilia as well.  Fortunately she was home at the time and was able to save herself as well as her two fur babies.  Her horses are ok but they did get a lot of smoke due to the direction of the wind.  Sherry also has a pet grooming shop and while it did not burn, there is still the smell of smoke. 

Currently Sherry is staying in her horse trailer and 'camping' out.  She does have water & power.  As winter gets colder, I am sure she will need things like new blankets, and so many other items that were lost.

The money raised will be a big help in providing immediate assistance while waiting for any insurance payments.  Sherry has always been the first one to lend a helping hand and the shirt off her back to anyone who needed it.  For all of us who have known her for years, this is our chance to help her.   A fire is a traumatizing experience to go through for anyone to go through.  Let's all of us who are able to support her.
