Judy Shaviv - Bayit Shel Benji

On November 21, I'm going to be running 10K through Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park - a feat I could never have managed a few months ago!

All funds raised will go towards Habayit Shel Benji, a home for lone combat soldiers in Israel, in memory of my mother, Judy Shaviv z'l, whose 10th yahrzeit falls this month.

As mother to two lone soldiers, this was a cause very close to her heart.

Habayit Shel Benji provides rooms, home cooked meals, laundry services, social activities and much more to 75 soldiers from all over the world, who have enlisted in the IDF while leaving their families back home.

As Israel is under fire once again, let's help these brave soldiers who are, after all, volunteers.
