Bradens CRPS Journey...

Braden was an active 12 year old boy until a sprained ankle at football practice turned into a painful nerve condition. This very rare condition has left him unable to walk since his injury in September 2020.

Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), is a chronic pain condition in which high levels of nerve impulses are sent to an affected site. In this case, Bradens foot. CRPS is the most painful condition known to man. Experts believe that CRPS occurs as a result of dysfunction in the central or peripheral nervous systems.

Braden is in pain non-stop. He has tried multiple local doctors and even the specialist at The University of Michigan Pediatric Pain Clinic. Nothing has helped enough to get him walking or out of pain.

He has tried several medication's, Sympathetic Nerve Blocks, Chiropractic care and months and months of Physical Therapy.

Bradens Parents have found a new therapy that has shown AMAZING results for CRPS patients. Why CRPS has no cure this therapy has been shown to put CRPS patients into remission with great success! Calmare Therapy will help reset his central nervous system and finally provide pain relief.

Unfortunately this treatment is not covered by insurance and is quite pricey. But there is no cost to high on making Braden able to walk again. With Bradens Mother being off of work with her own injury for months now they could really use our help.
