Judah's Trip to Seattle for STN 2019

Hi, my name is Judah, I am currently an editor and head of live production in DPNews, my high school's media program where we create a student-run news show twice a week. In it have learned countless workplace and media skills and have produced numerous videos of all kinds, many of which you can view here if you'd like examples of my work.
My freshman and sophomore year I attended the Student Television Network convention in both Anaheim, CA and Nashville, TN and it's safe to say these were the greatest experiences of my life. In these weeklong events, my school and I competed with over 3,000 students from across the world in a series of video creating challenges, where I created a public service announcement, movie trailer , and helped produce a morning news show.
I also got the chance to attend sessions held by industry professionals where I learned valuable lessons about media which I will never forget. I hope to attend more this year.
Media has been my biggest passion for a long time and I hold this convention very dear to me. The fun times I've shared with my friends during STN will never be forgotten. However, this year I need help to make this dream come true. The convention is taking place in Seattle, WA from March 28-31 and I will need the money soon to hold my spot.
The $1,000 covers airfare, a hotel, registration, 2 contests, and food.
Any amount of money helps and I would be so grateful to all my friends and family who could help make this dream experience come true for me. In addition, here is the gofundme for my whole team, donating to this fund will reduce costs for all students in our program looking to attend STN and will especially help students who will not be able to attend the convention at all without extreme financial aid.
