Jubilee Lake Holiday Park - Diana & Shane

Donation protected
Diana and Shane Kemp are the new Managers of Jubilee Lake Holiday Park in the picturesque holiday town of Daylesford Victoria, arriving only two months ago. The entire park has been severely impacted by the recent storms that hit on Thursday 10th June in the early hours of the morning. Diana and Shane spent the night evacuating residents of the park from their caravans and cabins as giant eucalypts fell around them. It is estimated over 30 trees have fallen, and nearly 20 structures have been destroyed or damaged in some way. It is miraculous that no-one was hurt.

Sadly, Diana and Shane's recently purchased cabin and caravan was one of the unlucky ones, and has been severely damaged; unfortunately they were not insured. They had placed all their savings into the cabin and saw this venture as their opportunity for a secure long-term future for their family. Diana and Shane have children at the primary and secondary school and one at university on-line.

The purposed of this GoFundMe page is to assist them to get back on their feet, to hopefully rebuild their cabin and repair the caravan if possible. Diana and Shane, through their management of the Holiday Park, are one of the foundations of the community of Daylesford and deserve a helping hand, if you are able, no matter how small that may be or in whatever form.
