Juanita's 80th Birthday Shindig!

We're gathering in Maricopa, AZ to celebrate Juanita's 80th birthday on Saturday, Nov. 12, 5 - 9 pm. Juanita's friend Leizel Taylor is organizing a celebration that's everything Juanita loves - food, music, dancing, family, and friends. As of now, Leizel and friends plan to decorate an event room at the Maricopa LaQuinta that opens to an outdoor area. She'll arrange for a food truck or two so people can grab a bite to eat at their leisure, with the food already paid for. She's also planning a dessert table, candy bags for the kids, and a bluetooth setup for music and dancing.

We invite you to donate what you can to help fund the party. If every adult on our guest list donates $50, we'll meet our goal. But we know not everyone can donate that much, so it would be great if others pitched in to make up the difference. Even if you can't attend, we welcome your contribution so we can throw the kind of party Juanita loves.

We'll have a big card for everyone to sign, and we'll include folks who donated but can't attend (leave what you want written on the card in your "words of support" when you donate). Any money we don't spend on the party will be gifted to Juanita. (For some reason, the organizer's name shows up as "benefitting" when you donate, but we promise, all donations go 100% to Juanita and her party!)
