Kidney Transplant Aftercare

As some of you may already know,  my aunt Rose was diagnosed with kidney failure nearly two years ago. She has been doing dialysis three times a week. Thankfully a beautiful childhood friend was a positive match to donate her kidney to my aunt. She will undergo transplant surgery on March 15 in NYC. Unfortunately she will not be able to work for several months, she will be restricted in other areas as well. Due to her high risk of infection,  she will not be able to take public transportation, therefore, she will have to drive herself to the many doctor appointments & follow up visits yet to come. With her lack of income throughout this upcoming process, it will be a huge financial burden for her. This money will be used for her room & board, fuel, tolls, & everyday household bills that still have to be paid. On behalf of myself & everyone in my family, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping out our family in their time of need.
