Margaret's Fund

For 30 years and counting Margaret has led the Khaki Club at Navy Base Kitsap with her unique style of service and caring for our local Chiefs and Officers.  As some of you may already know, after a routine procedure it was discovered that Margaret had tumors on her vocal cords and needed to begin radiation treatment as soon as possible.  She will work through much of the treatment but will need time off to recover as this process progresses.  As is typical in the Navy, we take care of our own and we wanted to start a fund to help Margaret through those final weeks of treatment especially in times she cannot work.  We love our Margaret and want to let her know, as we do with all of our shipmates, that we are standing by to support her through this tough time.  We request that you share this with Shipmates, past and present to harness as much of our community as possible.
