STAGE 4 BRAIN CANCER-CASTO MALAGON

Hello friends and family,

June 5, 2023 was the day that changed my families lives forever. My dad was rushed by EMT to the hospital due to an unexpected seizure. He was intubated for a week where it was found that he had a brain tumor. After being discharged, we followed up with the neurosurgeon doctor. It was ordered for my dad to have brain surgery immediately. On June 27 during his brain surgery, they were not able to remove the full tumor due to it being by an artery. The tumor was found to be stage 4 brain cancer. My dad spent another week at the hospital recovering from surgery. He was then referred to Highlands Oncology, where he is now receiving chemotherapy and radiation therapy daily. The doctors are ordering one year of cancer treatment. Due to the brain cancer, my dad is no longer able to work or do daily task on his own. Please keep my dad in your prayers. To those that know my dad, you know that he has a big heart and is always willing to help anyone in need. We know God is with him and he will help him fight this cancer. From the bottom of our hearts, we ask and welcome any donation to help my dad with his long journey including hospital and oncology bills, chemotherapy prescriptions and daily health expenses. El 5 de junio de 2023 fue el día que cambió la vida de mi familia para siempre. La ambulancia llevó de urgencia a mi papá al hospital debido a una convulsión inesperada. Fue intubado durante una semana y se descubrió que tenía un tumor cerebral. Después de ser dados de alta, hicimos un seguimiento con el médico neurocirujano. Se ordenó que mi papá se sometiera a una cirugía cerebral de inmediato. El 27 de junio, durante su cirugía cerebral, no pudieron remover el tumor completo debido a que estaba junto a una arteria. Se descubrió que el tumor era cáncer cerebral en etapa 4. Mi papá pasó otra semana en el hospital recuperándose de la cirugía. Fue referido a Highlands Oncology, donde ahora recibe quimioterapia y radioterapia a diario. Los médicos están ordenando un año de tratamiento contra el cáncer. Debido al cáncer cerebral, mi papá ya no puede trabajar o hacer las tareas diarias por si mismo. Por favor, tengan a mi papá en sus oraciones. Para aquellos que conocen a mi papá, saben que tiene un gran corazón y siempre está dispuesto a ayudar a cualquiera que lo necesite. Sabemos que Dios está con él y que le ayudará a luchar contra este cáncer.
