Help Jackie Pantaleo Survive Cancer

Our dear friend, community member, volunteer activist, advocate for so many in need, Mateel Community Center Board member, KMUD personality, and Mother and Grandmother--Jackie Panteleo--has been diagnosed with breast cancer.  Original statements that she had liver cancer are fortunately, incorrect.

After recently  housing and caring for Cousin Mark as he passed from cancer, and caring for her own partner Coco in his dance with the dis-ease, Jackie who has cared for them and countless others, has cancer herself.

But she has decided to take it on.  Jackie has just moved to Eureka, where she'll be closer to medical care and where she could actually find a place to live.   Her finances are meager, at best.  This is where we come in.

Those who know Jackie know that this is a no brainer.  Jackie is a paragon of the community, an original old-timer who could read your astrology chart with the best of them.  But now the time has come for us to help guide Jackie's own future.  I don't have to ask you to give generously, because I know you will.  Goddess bless Jackie.  This campaign is fully authorized by Jackie and her partner, Coco.
