Hearts in Motion- Guatemala

Hi everyone! This November 11th-19th, I have been given the opportunity to go on a volunteer service trip to Gualan, Guatemala through the Hearts in Motion as a student physical therapist. Hearts in Motion is a non-profit, non-denominational organization focusing on the needs of impoverished children and families. My classmates at Midwestern University and I will be offering physical therapy services to people of all ages at the free medical clinic established by H.I.M. I am overwhelmingly excited to put to use the clinical skills I have learned thus far in school to help those in such great need. 

The funds I raise for this trip will be put towards the Hearts in Motion organization to cover the maintenance of the free medical clinic, as well as my room and board while I am there! For more information about Hearts in Motion, their website is https://www.heartsinmotion.org.
