Medical bills for Dog lost 6 days.

On December 29th 2014, I was running with my dog in the Wilderness of Golden Colorado.  I let my dog off the leash because he enjoys it so much and I always wanted him to feel free.  That day he saw a group of deer and chased after them.  Usually my dog who is a Doberman named Baron always would come back to me.  That day he did not.  I chased after him in the Matthews Winters park but he ran where there was no trail, I attempted to keep up with him but with the brush, loose rocks and steep hills he got further and further away from me until he disappeared over the mountain top .  I had running shoes and no gloves on, the sun was setting and the temperature was around 10 degrees.  Once I lost sight of him I went home to get warm search clothing.  I hiked from 6 pm that night until 10 with no sight of him at all.  I went home fearing that was the last time I would ever see him again.  Temperatures dropped to 3 degrees that night and over the course of the next few days temperatures plummeted at night to -9 degrees.  I continued to search for him in the area every day.  On the 3rd day of him missing I had lost all my hope and told my friends I was calling off the search.  I didnt know how a dog with such a thin coat could survive temperatures that low out in the wild.  I continued to post my story on social media and other local outlets and strangers started contacting me with offers to help me search.  My friends as well kept posting the story everywhere they thought it could help and they kept telling me to search, stating that he had to still be alive.  This gave me hope and I continued to search.   One lady whom I didnt know offered to look for him in the area, so we coordinated together and we searched different areas daily.  On the 6th day of searching I had almost lost all hope again, many people say there are quite a few mountain lions in the area and he had to no food or shelter that I knew of.   That day around 3 pm Shelly the woman who was helping me search for Baron called me.  She stated that she had found Baron in a remote area and that his leg was very swollen and he was shivering and couldnt move.  I immediately set off to go locate them.  The sun was setting and it was getting cold out again.  Shelly said that she didnt think that he could make it another night considering his injury.  I hiked with my neighbor for 1.5 hrs and came upon Baron and Shelly in a ravine like area.  We placed him on a game sled with a blanket on tied him in and towed him up the side of a mountain along a ridge and then down a very steep hill which took about 2 hours.  The sun had set but it was a full moon out so we could see a bit.  Once we got to the hiking path it was much easier to  move baron in the sled.  We reached the car 30 minutes later and rushed him off to the emergency room.  Baron had no broken bones but had an infection in his leg known as cellulitis.  He had lost 17 pounds over the 6 days out and appeared very ill.  Day by day he continues to recover.  Today is the 7th of January and he can walk now with a considerable limp but that should subside soon.  Im here seeing if I can get some assistance to pay for his medical bills which are over $2000 that would be very helpful.  If anyone on here can donate a bit to assist me I would greatly appreciate it.
