We are writing on behalf of our dear friend and family member, Jeffrey Simon Hubbard. Jeffrey was involved in a boating accident on Lake Lanier Island on Friday, July 6, 2012 while spending the holiday weekend with friends. Regretfully, this accident caused the unfortunate death of one of the friends. No alcohol or drugs were involved.
As a result of this unfortunate and unavoidable accident, Jeffery was charged and recently convicted on five counts with the most severe being homicide by vessel. As of March 5, 2014, Jeffrey was sentenced to 48 months in the Hall County Correctional Institute. The correctional institute is not a part of the state prison system.
Due to the extensive legal expense, we are prayerfully asking for your financial support of Jeffrey, who has lived with this tragedy daily. Jeffrey Simon Hubbard is a Southwest Atlanta native, Christian, upstanding citizen, son, brother, father, coach and friend to many.
