Volunteering in Lebanon

Hi everyone!

I've just accepted a position to volunteer in Lebanon for two months- this coming December and January.   During my two months in Lebanon I will be teaching in a school for refugee women and children, helping prepare them for entrance into the Lebanese public school system. In addition to teaching, I will be helping organize evening and weekend activities for the local refugees and handing out aid packages in the camps. What I like most about the program I will be working with is the foundation it creates for each woman and child. This education is a step to normalizing their lives after witnessing tragedies brought by war. I am eager to get over there and help first-hand but I need your support. Your contributions will be going toward my travel, insurance, meals, and accommodations while over there.
