<div>To know Michelle is to love Michelle. Her gregarious personality lights up a room, and her sense of humor makes her unforgettable. She always keeps it 100 and is resilient, talented and smart as a whip. A pillar in our local music community, she has worked behind the scenes directing countless events for us to enjoy. Now, it is our turn to help her.

<div>In early December of 2022, Michelle made a brave announcement to the community that she had been fighting a silent battle with colon cancer. On the surface those of us outside of her immediate circle may have thought she was happily trucking along, planning new events, growing her career and her loving relationship with Jameson. But she courageously opened up to us and let us know that with him by her side, her days are now dominated by chemotherapy, radiation, hospital appointments with her oncologist, procedures at the surgery center, and immunology treatments that will continue into 2023. (In typical Fearless Michelle Fashion, she is already embracing her new pixie cut due to hair loss caused by her treatments.)

<div>After a bit of resistance, Michelle allowed for this fundraiser to be created. Michelle has not only taken on her prognosis responsibilities like a champ but has also given much of her time applying for charity care relief, financial aid grants, and sourcing medical supplies, devices and furnishings from donation centers, all while recovering from surgery. Can you even imagine?! Let's band together and provide Michelle with the power of community relief during this time.
