On September 14th, Jessica wasn't feeling great, and we went to Urgent Care. They took her vitals and found out she has very low blood pressure with a very high heart rate. They immediately sent us to the ER where they took some tests and scans. Along with her vitals, she also had a hemoglobin level of 5.1 (extremely low).

They sent her to the ICU, and we were there for a few days while they gave her 7 units of blood.

In the meantime, they were getting more information on what was going on and found she has a big mass in her groin area.

After a small inspection, they found she has some very bad bleeding, and we were going to be transported to Eugene for a biopsy of the mass.

After another day of waiting, we were transported to Eugene, and she had the biopsy done that night (Wednesday) where they confirmed that it was cervical cancer.

The next day, we were sent to a cancer center in Eugene to get one of two big doses of radiation to stop the bleeding.

After nearly a week of being in hospitals, we were able to go home Friday.

On the 25th, she went in to see her doctor at the cancer center in Medford where they gave us the rundown on what happens next.

She got a PET scan, and they found that she officially has stage 3a cervical cancer, and she starts her radiation and chemotherapy on the 20th of October.
