Juan's Funeral

My family and I are asking for your help. Recently, father and husband, Juan Arias, passed away unexpectedly.  Our family has long been struggling. Juan worked in corrections at different prisons for 20 years; unfortunately, he developed PTSD as a result of working at such a hazardous occupation.  He also developed a lot of physical pain due to surgeries, mostly due to work-related injuries.  Juan endured the agony of losing his job because of these injuries; as a family, we lost our home as well as endured a vast amount of financial burdens.  A few days ago, one of our daughters discovered her father’s body; Juan had passed away suddenly without any signs. The devastation of losing a father and a husband, suddenly, has only been the beginning of the hardship for this family.  We are now dealing with financial debt left behind and the financial burden of burying our loved one.   

Our hearts ache for the man that once filled this empty void.  One of our daughters remembers him for his cheesy jokes (that only he would laugh at!), always chewing bubble gum, and drinking Mountain Dew. The other daughter remembers her father as supportive of her events. He was there to cheer his daughter on for her first basketball game. First free-throw made, Juan stood up and yelled “THAT’S MY GIRL!”.  I describe Juan as having a big, caring heart, hard-working, and enormous love for me and his daughters. 

We ask for your support; any donation towards our family’s expenses would be appreciated.  This family cannot afford the debt left behind nor the expenses incurred with the funeral.  We are often reminded to bless those that need the blessing for there will be a day when the blessing will be returned to us in our time of need.  If you can give, please help my family that has already suffered and lost so much.
