JR Nelson Stroke Recovery

My brother in law Jr has recently had an extended stay in the hospital due to an auto immune disease ADEM which caused bi-lateral stroke, loss of motor function, cognitive skills, and the ability to connect and have a conversation. All of this is being treated and he will make a full recovery with time. On top of that Jr was also diagnosed with diabetes. Initially, they were informed that Patty would be able to take PAID leave to care for him, but since then they have learned that while she CAN take protected leave, it will be without pay. In home care is available but can not give JR insulin shots, until Jr is able to safely administer his own medications and take care of himself, Patty has to take leave from work. We are raising money to help pay medical expenses, as well as, the cost of living through the end of November when Patty can go back to work. JR is expected to make a full recovery, and until then, these funds will go a long way to helping while he does!!!! Thank you!!!
