<div>A few weeks ago, Cody began to experience intense headaches and rapid vision loss in his left eye. After meeting with many doctors and specialists, they discovered a large pituitary tumor pressing on his optic nerve. There are many lifelong implications due to the tumor, which doctors guessed may have been growing in his brain for between 5-10 years. Due to the location and size of the tumor, he could permanently lose vision in his left eye.

<div>Cody underwent his first surgery yesterday afternoon to remove about half of the tumor and will be recovering in the hospital for at least a week. Cody’s doctors have advised that a second surgery or radiation will be necessary to remove the remainder of the tumor. At this time, we are unsure of how long he will be out of work, but know it will be a month if not longer depending on how soon he’ll have to have a second surgery/radiation. Because of this, we are asking for support with Cody’s medical bills and living expenses.

<div>Cody is a beloved barber at High Point Barbershop and a staple in the Richmond hardcore community.
