<div>Right now, I’m facing something a bit different. I’m preparing for surgery that will happen in 2 weeks and will take me out of the studio for around 10 weeks. While it’s something I need to do for my health, it also means stepping away from the work and the community I care so much about.

<div>As a self-employed professional body piercer, my hands are my livelihood. If I’m not able to work, there’s no income coming in. Unlike traditional jobs, there’s no sick pay or safety net, just a sudden stop while the bills and everyday costs keep moving.

<div>I’m hoping to raise £4,000 to help cover essentials like rent, bills, food, and the basics I’ll need while I recover. This support would give me the space to heal properly so I can come back to doing what I love, safely and at full strength.
