Alexander's future funds

This is for my nephew alexander.
Please read and share.
For all of you who have been asking, I have started a donation page for my nephew alexander.
I have been fortunate enough to have been there for his birth and throughout his journey so far. Here is just a few of the hurdles he has jumped so far.
He was born 6 weeks premature with quite a few complications,  starting with being told that things weren't right, there is a long list but I will name a few. He was  born with a imporforate anus and had to have surgery at one day old. He is still currently needing weekly treatment for this procedure. He has 11 ribs, malformed ears. Small chin. Fixed flexion deformity of both 5th fingers. ( Wore spints for 6 months to correct they have slightly improved)
Stenosis of left main broncus with persistent hypercabia and home oxygen requirement. (He is still on oxygen) he is also Profoundly deaf with malformed cochlears and external ears and he has no hearing nerves, So hearing aids and a  Chochlear implant unfortunately is not a option for him.
My sister and the rest of the family will need to learn sign language. He is not even 1 years old yet and has had all these problems.
All of these defects are caused by a unknown genetic disorder that is still under investigation.  Adding to that he has an intellectual and developmental delay which has afteced his motorskills. With these conditions alexander needs on going therapy and equipment which is not all funded. Alexander is my sisters second child  so working full time is impossible with all of his appointments and living on one income has been a financial strain.
Raising this money will not only help pay for his equipment (the chair he needs now to help support him is over 10 thousand dollars and only needs it for a short time unil he grows out of it) it will also help pay for private specialists to give him the best possible care and answers. There is talk of sending alexander overseas to persue possible brain stem implant which will hopefully give him the chance to hear some sound and maybe even speech.
So any contribution big or small will make a difference to Alexander's  future.
I thankyou all for your support and positive words to Alexander's  and his family.  Alexander's parents are very grateful.
Much love Steph ( Anne's sister)

Please remember to share this page and I will keep you all updated on his progress. Xo
