On December 8, Wanda had surgery to remove a mass on the right side of her neck, that had aggressively grown in the weeks prior, becoming very swollen and painful. After the operation the Doctor informed us that she had Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. On December 29th, after several staging procedures, her diagnosis was Stage 2 B. Wanda has now started her chemotherapy and may have to have radiation therapy as well. She will undergo chemotherapy for the next 6 months.
All of this has been very sudden and tragic for my sister and all of us who love her. She will be out of work during the six months of therapy and possible radiation. We are all very hopeful and staying positive during her recovery. However we need help with the financial distress that she will endure during this process. Please donate as little or as much and you would like. Any little bit is very helpful and much appreciated. Thank you for contributing to Wanda’s recovery!!!
