I am not innocent in life.  However, I am innocent of the crime I am currently incarcerated for, and have been for over a year.   

I grew up in middle America.  Junction City, Kansas to be exact.  As biracial children, life had a few extra quirks for my sister and I.  Our parernts raised us well, although I was quite mischievous in my teens.  We all live seperate lives now, but our family ties remain strong.

I also have a daughter who loves me.  I haven't seen her since I've been in this place.  I miss her dearly, but her mother won't bring her to see me, and I'm not sure I want her coming to a place like this, seeing me in it, even if she would bring her.

So here's the story of why I need your donations:

I took a friend to the store in November of 2016.  Unbeknownst to me, he chose to commit a robbery while I waited in the car.  I found this out the following day when I was arrested as an accessory.  An hour or so later, this same friend was involved in a shootout with the local police, injuring an officer and nearly losing his own life.  this friend has since blamed the incident entirely on ME.  

I was not there.
I was already in police custody.
The state was about to drop all charges against me...then the Federal prosecutor decided to take the case with no evidence against me, threaten me with a ridiculous sentence if I went to trial, and thereby coerce me into a guilty plea for the robbery.  They are still trying to pin the shooting on me by means of conspiracy.  (Remember the "Rico" law?)

I have done many things in my life, good and bad. 

I DID NOT DO THIS.  

Needless to say, I need all the help I can get, both inside this prison, and to get out.  I need things like decent food, soap and toiletries in here, and all come at a high cost. 
I also need representation to get these charges refuted, and be released.  

I need to be back with my family.  My fiancee is doing all she can to assist, but she cannot do this alone.  My mother and grandmother are sickly and need me with them.  My daughter needs her father back.  I need vindication from these false charges, and my freedom restored.

I am grateful for all I'm given, including the time you spared me to read this.
