My beautiful mum, Kim Hetherington.

My mum, Kim Hetherington, found out two weeks ago she has stage 4B pancreatic cancer. Initially she was given a survival time of 3 months without chemo and 6 months with chemotherapy but this has now shortened to 4 months with chemo. She has been told she isn't eligible to do aggressive chemotherapy / immunotherapy and the lesser chemo cocktail proposed has only a 30 p.c response rate.

She has chosen not to do chemo as she may not bear up well, however there are therapies such as low -dose immunotherapy, Biohawk digestive aids, medicinal C$D, hyperthermia, IV infusions, sauna blanket and other protocols which could extend her survival time.

Along with low -dose radiation for pain relief and stroma breakdown, she is hoping to do low -dose immunotherapy. The combination of treatments below could cost $20 000 and include low- dose immunotherapy- $8000 ; IV treatments ( high dose vit c& ALA) approx- $4000 plus; hyperthermia -3 sessions per week for 3 weeks, approx..$3000 along with general integrative medicine consultation costs. She also needs to have molecular testing / genetic testing to best address gene mutations. These tests are expensive but necessary.

In future we hope for her to try other measures such as SOT and different checkpoint inhibitors but for now these supports will help strengthen her immune system to fight back the cancer spread.

We adore our mum and can't bear the thought of life without her. She is a very special person to many people. Every donation on GFM will contribute to extending her life and building her recovery.
