JP Chess 2022

JP Chess Club started in July 2021. We are the newest chess club in Boston and attract players from Jamaica Plain and surrounding neighborhoods. We got off to an excellent start in 2021 with over 100 members on Facebook, over 50 members on meetup, and a group of 30+ regulars who attend the weekly in-person club meetings. This fund raiser is to cover the expenses of the club in 2022 and will enable us to keep the club free to all chess players regardless of their financial status. Anticipated 2022 expenses include new and replacement chess sets and clocks, USCF membership, website fees and potentially rent for the months we are unable to find a rent free location.
