JP & Carla vs Harvey & Rising Water

My name is Stephen Kendrick from Pearland, Tx. Harvey has been especially harsh to my extended family in La Grange, Tx like so many others that have been affected by this hurricane.  Their home is on the Colorado River, which is out of its banks and 5-6' in their home.  Please help us raise money for their current expenses while they are displaced.

Thank you to everyone that has reached out to us during this devastating event. We won't know the extent of the damage to our home and our belongings that we left behind until the water allows us back in. We did pack up some stuff on Sunday prior to the flood; however, we chose to leave behind so very much in anticipation that we would return to our home with a reasonable amount of flood damage but nothing to the extent of having 6' of disgusting river water, silt, ants, snakes, and fish poured into it. Everyone's concern and generousity has been so beautiful and uplifting. My house was my pride, our safe haven, my children's world and the keeper of so many belongings and memories. My kids do not know that our home was flooded, it will be hard for them to understand this whole ordeal so please don't say anything around them. Lastly, I ask that you please pray for all flood victims across the state of Texas so that they (we) can kind peace with the situation, keep faith, and move forward. ✌
