Jozey's Standing Wheelchair

Hi! For those who don't know me my name is Jozey Pickering. In October 2010 i was in a car accident that left me paralyzed from the chest down with a C6 spinal cord injury. I was recently approved by my insurance for a new power wheelchair. I am seeking help to fund an optional automatic standing function that is available but not covered by insurance. Being an over $14000 option, this is well beyond my budget. However, with your help, this standing wheelchair would allow me to return to the workforce, lead a more fulfilling, independent, and capable life, as well as provide numerous health benefits. Primarily, it would be the determining factor in the healing of two bedsores I have fought for years now as a result of my lack  of mobility. These wounds require daily attention from medical professionals, which limits my ability to travel, as well as taking up crucial time that I could be spending on physical therapy. With the independence provided by this standing chair I could spend less time coping with my limitations and more time overcoming then.
