Joy and are family story.
Joy and I met in October of 2005 at our sons soccer game. As fate would have it are worlds would come togther 2 months later for dinner. And the rest is history by May 2007 we got married and started our journey. Her beautiful smile and stunning blue eyes melted my heart and I new I wanted to be with her. Joy and I each have a son whos names just so happened to start with the letter J Justin and Jake and then you throw in Joy and Joe and you have a family full of Js fate maybe!
Joy and I and the boys hit the ground running traveling eating exploring any chance we could. Are moto was "Get busy leaving or Get busy dying" We stayed active and we took advantage of what life had to offer.
Our lives came to a halt on September 11 2014 Joy fainted while we were going to lunch the next day she was complaining that her head hurt. We took her in to the hospital and they did a brain scan and found a tumor. And our lives changed for ever Joys was dianosed with Glioblastoma 4. A very aggressive nasty cancer.
She has been a rock star form day one from having brain surgery and then going through radiation and chemo she continues to fight everyday.
