JOYCE VARGO MEMORIAL FUNERAL FUND

Hi, I’m Suzette, and I am fundraising to help with funeral and burial expenses for Joy Vargo, lovingly known to many of her West Hollywood neighbors as “Aunt Joy,” who passed away on March 25, 2022, unexpectedly after a month battle with multi-organ complications, while traveling in Las Vegas. Joy was the kindest, most elegant woman I have ever known, and I was honored to have her live with me during the Pandemic. With an illustrious career, starting at Johnson Wax and modeling in the 1960’s, to being a beloved teacher and educator of deaf children, to winning sales awards in real estate, Joy touched many. She was even featured in the Newsweek magazine, for the reading program she started to assist “at risk” gang children improve their reading skills. She was always trusting, and sadly lost much savings to a corrupt financial planner, and died without even insurance funds. As such, I am seeking assistance for her final expenses, funeral, burial, Church, cemetery, etc. Any donation is much appreciated!
