Joy, The Servant, Needs Your Help!

Friends and loved ones of Joy Zhong, she needs your practical love.
We first met Joy in September of 2017 while we were teaching English in Xi'an, China. She quickly revealed herself to be a servant of the Lord through her actions and words.
Joy is a Chinese servant of the Lord and she believes that she is to set aside September 2019 until April 2020 to receive Bible and ministry training in the one year Certificate Program of Steinbach Bible College in Manitoba, Canada. She will take a break from her studies in Xi'an to do this.
Many of you are aware that she is from a non-Christian family with limited resources. She will need our help in very practical ways.
Recently, while completing her SBC application, she was confronted with the question, “How do you plan to finance your education?” she responded by simply writing, “The Lord will provide!!!” For my husband and I, having served with OMF in the Philippines, this was clearly reminiscent of the attitude of Hudson Taylor, founder of the China Inland Mission, in 1865.
Joy, as many of you are aware, serves the Lord humbly in her local Church and on her university campus in Xi'an, China, and this past summer she worked faithfully as a cabin counselor and staff member at Winkler Bible Camp in Manitoba, Canada.
Joy is humbly trusting the Lord for funding to study at SBC. She has authorized us to set up this gofundme campaign for her. She is intending on returning to China at the end of her year of study at SBC.
We, as Joy's friends, and links to Steinbach Bible College, have committed ourselves to stand with her in raising funds for her study. Living with us will provide her free Room & Board but she will be faced with so many more expenses:
SBC Tuition $9,000.00
SBC College Fees & Books $1,100.00
International Travel $1,300.00
Traveler's Health Insurance $600.00
TOTAL $12,000.00

We will be collecting and holding the funds for Joy because she will be in China. If she is unable to attend SBC we will return the donated funds to all identified donors.
