Ward Family Emergency Fund

As some of you may know, Chris Ward suffered an ischemic stroke on December 10. Unfortunately the stroke affected Chris's mobility and utilization of his left arm, and it affected his balance and vision as well.

Chris' doctors are optimistic that he will make progress toward a recovery, but he has a very long road ahead of him that will involve a lot of hard work and include a comprehensive rehabilitation effort over what may be several months. Fortunately, he is in good spirits, he's determined to make progress, and he's still the same Chris we all know and love.

As you also know, Chris is a self-employed contractor. His stroke has left him unable to work with no way to predict when he will regain functionality of his arms and legs and be able to return to work. As is often the case in these situations, this event has created significant financial challenges for Chris' family. His extended family is doing what they can to help, but it falls well short of being able to cover their expenses. Like all of us, their bills and monthly expenses will continue to mount.

We are establishing this Go Fund Me site to provide an opportunity for you to contribute to an emergency fund to help Chris and his family with their expenses. Any amount you can contribute will be appreciated and accepted with deep gratitude from Chris, Stephanie, Abi, and Cheyenne.

As you might imagine, this event has been a shock to Chris' family. For those of us who know and love Chris or any member of his family, let's band together to help ease their financial burden and show our support for his recovery.
