Jovani Salgado PR Relief

It's been over a week since hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico. I spoke with Geo on Friday night and he said that they are still without power, water, and are running out of food. 

In true Geo fashion, he doesn't want to leave the island because there are people depending in him. His has been spending most of his time trying to get gas, water, and food to himself and his neighbors. Many of them elderly or with young children.

There is one working phone in his area, so he hikes there every night to wait for his sister or myself to call.  They are saying it will take upwards of 6 months before electricity is back up and running, possibly even longer before potable water is retored.

This page is to raise money for supplies and food.

Some of the items I will be gathering to send include:
Water filtration and purification supplies
Food (ready to eat, no heat required)
Solar battery charger
First aid and other survival supplies

I am keeping in touch with him, talking every few days to get updates on the situation and to adjust the list according to what they need.

Please help if you can, the money will be going towards supplies and getting them to Puerto Rico.
