#JourneyToBabyHall

Donation protected

I’ve started this go fund me because this family has poured everything they have into trying to have a baby for the last two years. It’s been so hard to watch my dear friends on the repeating cycle of hope and then let down. Caitlin is the warmest person- quick to lend a helping hand, so hardworking, and always present when she’s needed by a friend.. stepping up for others constantly no matter what she’s going through. She’s a genuinely good person and as her best friend I want nothing more than to watch her get to experience pregnancy and motherhood. If you feel inclined to donate, I know it would mean the world to the Hall family, and If you’re not in a position to do so, please include them in your prayers.

Infertility is something that effects 1 in 8 couples all over the world. Infertility is also something that is taboo to talk about in mainstream today. Sometimes you must fight for your family and sometimes you must fight to have a family. Caitlin & Rob’s journey started in December 2016. They got their first BFP in December 2017. Shortly after, the baby was called home to God on December 21st . After suffering this miscarriage, they decided it was time to seek professional reproductive help.

January 2018 they were introduced to REACH in Charlotte. This is where their journey starts to become real.  Caitlin and Rob started timed intercourse with Clomid in July & August after taking a few months to still enjoy life. After failed and no response, they started IUI # 1 & #2 in September & October. Come November, their doctor wanted to perform an exploratory laparoscopic surgery to see what Caitlin’s reproductive organs were showing. They showed Stage 1 Endometriosis. From there the drugs and plan switched. IUI #3 & #4 in December & January had Letrozole, Gonal-F injections and progesterone. Each one ended in a Big Fat Negative test.

Today they decided to proceed with IVF. However, the insurance they have does not cover a single dime in any medical events coded Infertility. Which leads us to where we are today. They plan to have IVF starting in April or May. For now, they need to find $18,000 for medicines and procedure.
